Standard Format Deck Construction

The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:
Magic 2010 Core Set™
Magic 2011 Core Set™
Shards of Alara™
Conflux™
Alara Reborn™
Zendikar™
Worldwake™
Rise of the Eldrazi™

There are currently no cards banned in Standard tournaments

Players will be held responsible for knowing the standard & tournament floor rules for the REL level. In addition, all players MUST have the following items with them in order to compete:

- Entry Fee (Dur!)
- Players Deck (minimum 60 cards, with or without the optional 15 card sideboard) Sleeved in mono coloured non-reflective card sleeves.
- Fully Completed Deck Registration Sheet (which will be collected by the event staff after seating of the round 1 matches).
- Pen & Paper (to record life totals of both players, and any allowed 'in-game' notes as pertaining to the DCI floor rules! No other substitute will be permitted for the tracking of life totals!)
- Tokens/Dice (to show counters on permanents etc, also if players are using creature token producing cards within there deck, then a suitable token representation of that creature is required, which shows as many of the following as possible:
the creature type, colour, power/toughness & any other abilities the token has.
The token in question must also clearly show when the creature is either untapped or tapped to avoid any confusion between players and/or Judges.

All participants receive a *not yet confirmed* card exclusive to Magic Game Day, while supplies last
The top 8 receive a full-art *not yet confirmed* promo card exclusive to Magic Game Day
The winner receives the Magic 2011 Game Day winners certificate, as well as the Magic 2011 Champion title

Pre-registration will be open from now until noon on Thursday 12th August 2010. You can pre-register for this event by sending an e-mail to sales@innersanctumcollectibles.com (please make the e-mail/message subject Magic 2011 Games Day Pre-Reg otherwise your pre-registration maybe overlooked!) with your full name (as it appears on your DCI membership card) and DCI number (if you have one).

The main event will be Swiss style pairings with the number of rounds dependant upon the player turnout. There will then be a top8 single elimination playoff to determine Cambridge's Magic 2011 Games Day Champion.

Side Event drafts of 3x Rise of the Eldrazi boosters OR 3x Magic 2011 boosters will be available throughout the day and cost £11:50
These will be single elimination events with a 5-3-2-2 booster prize payout.
