Saturday in-store demos

Hi all. My name is Karl and I work in store on Saturdays.

I want everyone to know that they are welcome to drop in for a demonstration of some of the great games we have to offer.

If you find yourself interested in the raw aggressive power of Hordes and Warmachine, or the Building Smashing Giants of Monsterpocalypse, or the chess-like interactive strategy in Urban War, then please don't hesitate to let me know which game and saturday you want to give it a try.

I will look forward to it

note: I intend to add Malifaux to this list too soon.

Very thorough demos, gives you a good feel for the game.

I personally recommend Monsterpocalypse, but only if you like being able to bodyslam enemy monsters through buildings into radiation.

I intend to give some demos on monsterpocalypse this saturday.
It is a great game, I want see if I can bring more players into it.

It involves a rampaging monster in an urban setting, supported by fellow units to damage the opposing monster to zero life. It is a pre-painted plastic collectible miniture game with alot of stategic elements: placement, probabilities and resource management (in the form of dice).

Is there any more in-store demos coming up anytime?

Some games that interest me are Urban war, Malifaux, and on the board game side there is Arkham Horror.

Welcome to our Forum, I like your interests.

I can run an urban war demo in store any saturday.
When do you think you would be able to come in.

malifaux, I recently recieved a demo of myself, it is a very good game. I don't own any pieces yet to demo with, you may want to contact Marcuzi and Maximus. They can run a demo and are looking for new players.

For a demo of Arkham Horror you may want to PM Dave on here

i've only played a couple of games myself but I have the general gist of the game down thanks to having ingested the entire rulebook

Well that didn't go quite to plan. I was there from 12:40 to 13:40. bur like 'ships in the night', contact was not made.

(Not a wasted day though as I went for a good burn on the bike on some lovely back-roads that I found. It seems to work quite well just taking random junctions and heading off down the quietest road you find.)

Maybe an other time then.

Is there anyone in the offering for tomorrow ?

Will be in Saturday from around 11:00 onwards, will be able to give you a game of Malifaux. Only played a few games, but slowly getting the hang of it.

I was there at the shop today playing monsterpocalypse. I guess I didn't put two together and realise you were waiting for marcus (I could have called him if you told me, nevermind). He came at 2pm and sends his apologies.

As for tomorrow saturday, I will be there all day able to demo Urban War, hope to see you there.
