Monsterpocalpyse... anyone interested? - Page 2

Awesome. So getting the Cthullu dude. Fits in with both my factions. Gunna see what goes on with the other units before I make judgements on them. Special character units coming up?

yey, another monday, another preview day

Today was Tritons, with a Dr Zoidberg Lobster monster and a Leviathon/Shark. They both seem setup to power attacks. Hoist on Crustacear in particular does this very well. And Armoured on both forms on Leviathron means you never take damage from coliding into buildings.

I personally want to stick to the martians splashing for the mechanical triton units, so the eels don't interest me but the hunter Sub looks strong with energy sap + disrupt triggers with boosted attacks. The Martians offer high speed and mobility, the tritons offer high Defense and boost dice.

that building is huge

also how awesome is the pose and sculpt on that ape monster
and thats almost definitely the towing mole unit

Anyone notice the distinct lack of any Ubercorp unit/monster there? Nice albino monkey unit though, massive rocket launcher on its back. range 5 and explosion anyone?

My losing streak in monsterpocalypse continued today. Sad face
Still had lots of fun though of course. I want to play some more.
I will be in the shop most days, with weds and Fris being best.

I heard. This is good news, interested to see how long it will take to reach shelves; I imagine there is three processes left Quality control, sell and dispatch to worldwide distributors, then same to stores.

I was playing protectors yesterday on a bad map, as there was no spawn point an Earth Avatar can get on a power zone. I noticed an Air kami's lift ability would have changed that.

Lots of other things I am excited to try out: hunter subs, neutral units, buildings, UCI units, Mecha Cthugrosh.

With the release of Big in Japan, the interest and amount of Monsterpocalypse in store has definitely increased. The game is great fun and so complex under the surface.

Wednesdays tend to be the best days for players wanting to meet others and play, if enough people show interest I would love to arrange another League, the first went very well.
